When signing in to our knowledge base, some users may encounter this error:

Our WNPA knowledgebase and community forum site is built on a product from Zendesk which uses cookies to maintain your user authentication. 3rd party cookies may be blocked by your browser settings or security-related extensions, interfering with the sign-in process and generating this error. These settings can typically be adjusted to allow cookies for all or even just certain sites, which may fix this problem. If you are using a security browser extension, it may have settings to allow certain sites or may need to be disabled but you will need to find instructions for your browser extension. It may also be worthwhile to test using a different browser that does not have cookie restrictions if one is available.
To adjust Google Chrome settings, here are the full instructions: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647/clear-enable-and-manage-cookies-in-chrome-computer, and below are the specific instructions. If you are using a different browser, a web search may produce similar instructions.
Allow or block cookies for a specific site in Google Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More
Settings.
- Under "Privacy and security," click Cookies and other site data.
- Next to "Sites that can always use cookies", click Add.
- Enter these web addresses:
- [*.]wnpa.org
- [*.]zendesk.com
- Select Add.
To remove an exception you don't want anymore, to the right of the website, click More
Remove.
After adjusting browser and extension settings to allow cookies, this sign-in error should be resolved.
