We are implementing a new method of capturing customer information, powered by TransactionTree. This will allow customers to enter their information on the credit card terminal directly, bypassing a need for staff to enter any information. This article will serve as a brief overview on how the process affects the RetailPro receipt screen.
On opening a new receipt, you will see some changes to the form.
The first is the addition of a "Print/Send" button at the top of the screen. This will allow you to both print a physical receipt, and send a digital copy to the customer.
The second is the addition of the "Item Quantities" button. This can be used when selecting an item that has been added to the invoice to display a list of stores and their On-Hand quantities, as well as the contact information for that store. This is useful for allowing the clerk to contact the other store to hold inventory for the customer.
The third is the addition of the "Send SMS Link" button. In the event that the customer wants to have the SMS link sent to them again, either to initially sign up or to make edits to their information, this button transmits an SMS text with that link.
Finally, is the removal of the "Update Only" button. With the TransactionTree plugin, printing a receipt is automatic on each transaction.
