Overview:
WNP uses automated email signatures to ensure a consistent, branded, and inclusive representation in all outgoing email communication. If you need to update your contact information, add post-nominals/credentials, or include your pronouns, please follow the steps below to submit your request.
When to Submit a Signature Update Ticket
Submit a Zendesk ticket if you need to:
- Update your display name.

Add or change pronouns.

Add, remove, or edit post-nominals/credentials.

Update phone number or address.
-
Request other changes related to your signature display.
Note: Job title updates must be requested through Human Resources directly and cannot be changed via Zendesk.
How to Submit Your Request

Go to the WNP IT Helpdesk.
- Create a new IT Helpdesk ticket.

Select the issue category:
Human Resources > Signature Updates -
In the description box, include exactly how you’d like the signature to appear.
Pronouns Format
To promote inclusivity, you may optionally include your pronouns. Please list them in the following format:
Subjective / Objective
Example: she/her or they/them
Subjective / Objective / Possessive / Reflexive
Example: she/her/hers/herself or they/them/theirs/themself
Credentials and Post-Nominal Order
List your credentials and honors in this order:

Religious Orders
-
Theological Degrees
-
Academic Degrees
-
Honorary Degrees, Honors, and Decorations
-
Professional Licenses, Certifications, and Affiliations
-
Retired Uniformed Service (e.g., USAF (Ret.))
View Your Existing Profile Card
You can view your current contact information in your Outlook profile card.

Open an Office application. Example: Outlook Client or Web.

Navigate to sent items, on a recently sent message, select your own name or profile picture to see your profile card, then click on the Contact tab.

Pronouns and post-nominals will be listed under Contact Information.
If your current profile is accurate and you have no updates to pronouns or credentials, you don't need to do anything.
Teams Pronouns
Please note: updating your pronouns in Teams does not translate to the email signature.
